My friend Leslie gave me a nice chalice candle holder and i was so excited to decorate it for christmas. I grabbed my bag and headed to the mall to buy christmas ornaments and candles to go with my new candle holder. Unfortunately, i bought a large candle that seems to be oversized on my holder. But i never gave up, i make it work and heres how it turned out... And i can agree that three always looks good together. My friends said that this arrangement is stunning. It looks well made and well thinked of. I think my artistic mind is working again that i had made this piece out of mismatched pieces.

Ive been liking to give my auntie a living room make over as a gift. Our cousins are really fond of visiting my aunts old house but sad to say, they dont have a space where visitors can gather when they come. Currently, when visitors arrived, they will seek for somewhere to sit in. No formal sitting area. Though they have this old couches but they are really not presentable, those are too old and wrecked. The problem on the space other than the limitation on its size is that, there is a huge window thus making the storage room so evident. This is such an eyesore because the oldies are really not fond of giving up their things no matter how old or unuseful they are. They are sentimental as like the other old filipinos are. Living in the house are also bunchful of kids so it is also one of the concerns. I have to seach for a sofa which is sturdy and can withstand the playfullness of the kids. Who would say that Halloween is just for spooky and frightening decors. Animal prints, black and reds are the colors of Halloween. This three motiffs, when mixed in proportions are just enough to celebrate the season. No pumpkins, no spider webs and no bones, a space made fab by just altering the colors of the most easiest, the linens!!! Happy halloween!!!

This is my lanai and how it was set up. Unfortunately, the bamboo fench is getting older and older and leaving an eyesore on the wall. Aside from this, because of the green walls, green tile and the green shade, the area seems so dull. The monochromatic scheme, even with a touch of browns and reds are not complimenting each other. I want to leave some mystique on the area since i like to transform this space into a balinese retreat. So i decided to paint the wall red. I chose a bright red to highlight the area and make this space popped up. I also painted the left wall with the same color to unify the space. I remove decors that obstruct the bamboo fence. I constructed a bamboo planter and put the ferns instead. Now i have a small pocket garden. I want to trim down the plants and put some bromeliads instead. I am excited to arrange this and make it pleasing to the eye. I have an idea on my mind already and i am just gathering the things i need for this make over. Look

This is the boring shoe cabinet. I really want to replace this, unfortunately, i am not decided yet if i will be purchasing a nice console table or will be asking again the help of my carpenter to make a cabinet/display shelf for me... But i had purchased a nice wallpaper during a mall visit. Actually, i dont really have a plan for that but i saw that the design is nice and that dainty pattern is a little japanese so i purchased three of that. So while i was checking my house, the shoe cabinet caught my attention and immediately thought that making this over will give this cabinet more character. So i decided to put wall paper on the cabinet door and voila, i so love the transformation.

This work table being bigger than the usual side table can carry books, table lamps and other materials. Plus everything can be easily reach if you need some materials. These past two days during my off, I felt that my creative juices are flowing again and my fingers are itching to do something interesting. Well, originally, my plan is to create a mini study table for my niece partly because, I gave her a bed and some storage area but as a student, she need to have her own desk where she can write, study or just put some of her things. Though the weather is really bad, persistent that I was, I do manage to go on the DIY store to buy the materials that I need. Actually, I could have ask the carpenter to do this for her but I am so eager to do it mainly because, I know I can do it and it’s nice to have something in her space that I personally done. And I had done it without any hassle. Well, this is just a simple project and actually it’s not very unique.
