September House Tour

I really like house tours. I do it most of the time if i had a chance. I want people to be inspired. I want them to see things that are not so expensive and yet can elevate their home to a higher level. Im not fond of designer things, or even designer cloths. For me, comfort is better than brand. But i want it to be durable and workable. My house is like a blank canvass. I can do all sort of things in there. I can mix and match, i can rearrange. I have freedom. For me, boring is not a word. You get bored because its a choice. This is my home. My september home tour. I hope you enjoy it as much as i do.

The New Living Room

Notice how the sofa was now change from tan to black. Actually from my previous blog, i really wanted to upholster it orange or red. But like i said i change my mind because i wanted it to be as neutral as possible. And i am very proud on how it turned out. Black is the new beige. The L-shaped sofa was a nice snatched for 8000 Php only. Adding pillows in different sizes and patterns add cozyness and color to the black and solid sofa. The wooden side table was from the old round garden set which i had several years ago. A nice terracotta vase with twigs and artificial leaves are old accessories and were given by a friend. The artworks on the right sides are just frames with printed pictures from the net. The large frame in the center is a find from local mall for just 4000 Php. The two artworks on its side are my own which i painted several years ago. I just had them framed for 700 Php per piece. The old wooden chest as my coffeetable sits my favorite books and some of my bud

The New BOLD BLACK AND BEAUTIFUL

My dilemma started when i noticed that my beige sofa starts to accumulate dust and dirt. Though the color seemed to embrace such accumulation over time, it started to feel sticky and stinky (hopefully, im the only person who noticed that). Actually, i havent enjoyed it for quite sometime now since i stayed on my room most of the time. It sucks big time and i really wanted to have it covered with new upholstery. Honestly, i want to go bold, in TANGERINE or RED of course. But my mind dictates that black is more neutral and i wont find it very hard to decorate my living room with it. Aside from it, i think that black is more masculine, more sophisticated and easy to maintain. So i decided that BLACK is the new bold for my living room. The process will take 3-4 days and i am so excited on how it will blend on my current color scheme. I do believe that i can work on this and im so eager to get it on. Then i discovered that it was indeed my plan last 2011 to buy a black L-shaped sofa then

My Newly Found Adventure

You might notice that I've been missing updates on my blog lately. Its just that im deciding whether to keep this blog or transfer the blog into another website. I don't know but its getting hard for me to post pictures on this blogsite lately. It always have this error on page note at the bottom. And when i try to post pictures, its getting hard for me to write about it cause theres this problem on the templates. I don't know how I'm gonna solve this one. But anyway, you also notice that i am not posting pictures of my house unlike before that I've been updating every month. I got a new hobby and its Mountain Trailing with my co employees. Been physically active for the past months. And i am really enjoying it. A lover of nature that i am, this hobby rekindles my passion to appreciate what God has given us. So far I've climbed these peaks already...i know posting pics sucks but let me keep on trying..  This was my first climb to Mt. Banoy in Bata
