My dilemma started when i noticed that my beige sofa starts to accumulate dust and dirt. Though the color seemed to embrace such accumulation over time, it started to feel sticky and stinky (hopefully, im the only person who noticed that). Actually, i havent enjoyed it for quite sometime now since i stayed on my room most of the time. It sucks big time and i really wanted to have it covered with new upholstery.
Honestly, i want to go bold, in TANGERINE or RED of course. But my mind dictates that black is more neutral and i wont find it very hard to decorate my living room with it. Aside from it, i think that black is more masculine, more sophisticated and easy to maintain.
So i decided that BLACK is the new bold for my living room. The process will take 3-4 days and i am so excited on how it will blend on my current color scheme. I do believe that i can work on this and im so eager to get it on.
Then i discovered that it was indeed my plan last 2011 to buy a black L-shaped sofa then. Three years that it takes for me to realized my plan. I should be implementing my plans the soonest because i know eventually that ill be chasing the plan again in the future.
Welcome to Make me Home edition 4. Weve been doing the dining, living and kitchen already and i guess its proper to feature a bedroom as well. This time, i want to feature a bedroom which is so typical to a filipino setting where the bedroom is shared by siblings. It is a common fact that due to limited space and budget, room sharing is an option to a modest family. Though privacy may be a little bit of a problem when sharing a space, intimacy and healthy relationships can be strengthen by sharing a room with someone who are dear to us. This room may be bit of a challenge for me. When i saw the room, i thought, a bed with a pull out will definitely solve the small space problem. But, its kinda ackward for someone to sleep on the pull out right? In fact, sleeping in a pull out is just an option for a sleep overs. It will be greater and even righteous to give a bed to everyone so they can have a space of their own. So i envisioned a "chic retreat style" for this bedroo
