Im A Buddha Collector

Ive been collecting Buddha's for the past five years already. If I'm not mistaken, i already have 16 pieces at home. Every house guests are curious and fascinated as well as they look at each piece. These pieces are made of wood, clay, or cement. Here are some of my collections. This is how my collections were displayed at home. Some of these were from a local thrift store and were acquired through the years. Some of these are gifts from my friends, some are my finds. A lot mistook them for being expensive because of the materials and its weight, but these collections are not expensive at all.   These replica of Lantau Islands Buddha in Hongkong was purchased in a local garden shop. An original terracotta one and now spray painted in gold for some color. I actually purchased two of these and now sits on my side tables in the living room. This one was purchased in Thailand during my visit. I am very excited to visit Bangkok since it is my first time in th

Simple Dessert on Weekends

A better way to spend the blazing hot weekend afternoon is to eat ripe mango topped with vanilla ice cream. That little souriness on the mango and the sweetness of the vanilla  ice cream compliments each other which is made perfect by a little crunchiness brought by the nuts in the ice ceam. The simple dessert that was prepared so easy will give delight to everyone. Delicious dessert is just around the corner if you knew how to appreciate simple taste but will be great on the tastebuds. Enjoy the weekends guys....

Pizza day at Casa Cecilia

One thing that i hated most on myself is that i always wanted to take pictures of everything that we are about to eat and then suddenly, when they put the food on the table, i forgot everything until we remember that we have to take the pictures of it. Maybe its so delicious that we wanted to eat it right away. Casa Cecilias pizzas are one of my favorite. Maybe the simplicity of the taste, its crunchiness and freshness of ingredients, really a comfort food for us. Their all veggies pizza is perfect for dieting enthusiast out there. Who doesnt want such indulgence while not worrying about the extra calories and the sit ups and the exercises after eating. Imagine the two servings of pizza consumed by four very lucky individuals...it ws indeed heaven for all of us. And there were nothing on the plate...totally consumed....burpp....

For this month....

I am so excited to decorate my nest. Its been quite a while since my last blog, maybe because i am so busy for the past few months. Its not just blogging that i missed, also dressing my nest. For this month, i like to see my nest in blue, orange and green, the usual colors that i like. But this month is quite unusual, because i tend to lean on a musculine style, more toned down but colorful as well. Its just that i like to see my nest as subtle as it can be, with minimum decor, restive but colorful as well. Its my character, it defines my style, colorful as always. See how striking the picture is, and its colors...im so excited to use this color palette at home. I also found one big buddha at a local thrift store. Its so beautiful that i was eager to buy when i embraced it. You know the feeling that you are fit to each other, as if you are really meant to be. Thats what i felt when i embraced my new buddha. All in all, i have 16 pieces now at home. I know its an addiction
