Suddenly...it bloated

The final costing was revealed and it was totally out of my budget.

After careful consideration i still gave the approval to proceed with the project on the following consideration:

1. This is an investment also on my part. The property will increase its value in time even if the structure gets old. Usually the current value will always be higher than the acquisition and the construction cost.

2. This is my dream home and i want to push this to the limit cause anyway this will be our retirement home. I want to give my all to this project

3. The maximum guaranteed cost is still within my guaranteed savings. Meaning, i still have money to build this house with money still left on my bank account after the construction.

But i have to properly select all the materials for me to save for the construction as the exterior wall painting and the fencing is still not considered on the budget. But nevertheless I'm still very hopeful that it can still be accommodated once the project is on-going.

But i have to pray more so that i can finish this project which will start soon in a couple of weeks.

The Living Room Evolution...

Would you go for a distinct look?... Or something with comfort? Actually, the last pic was my new living room. Though i love the style of my old living room, with my hard wood japanese sofa, it compromise my need for comfort. Honestly, my mother is always complaining that the wood is so hard to sit in and was not too comfty. I bought the japanese sofa last November 2009 because im looking for a japanese themed living room, and voila, i found one and i know its a great deal. Ive been looking for the same kind for so long and this one is I thought perfect for the theme. Unfortunately, and by experience, i cannot last long sitting on the hardwood even if pillows are there for relieve, its just too hard and painful on the butt! It started

And it started a week ago. For whatever it may cost, I had started it. There's a lot of problems initially but i really wanted to focus on the goal as i know preparation takes more time and effort. I want to enjoy the process and I don't want to be stressed about it. I'm so excited and i cannot contain it.
