My dream home

 At last, been dreaming of this for so long, i am about to build my dream home. I can say that its not the big house that i wanted it to be but its a modest home for relaxing and for staycation. Im super excited for how it will turn out. I discussed the things that i want and the look that i want to achieve on my contractor. Im super excited to show you the floor plan of the house

The first floor has one room meant for the rest of my family. It has a spaceous lanai for entertaining which i requested. The house will be 1.5 meters above ground. The way i also requested it to be. The living room and dining room will be with high ceiling, open plan layout and with a modest kitchen that will be colorful and striking.
The second floor is dedicated for the man of the house...ooops, thats me. Yeah, my room will be a loft type. But the contractor added some area which i never expected but which i totally love...a family area. Yes, where we can just hang and play our games. From the family room, the living room and my dining area will a a sight to behold. Ah, im super excited for my nest project. I already have pegs in mind but im praying that ill have a minimalist house this time. Oh God, please help me with this one cause im really a maximalist. Hahahaha.

Welcome to Make me Home edition 4. Weve been doing the dining, living and kitchen already and i guess its proper to feature a bedroom as well. This time, i want to feature a bedroom which is so typical to a filipino setting where the bedroom is shared by siblings. It is a common fact that due to limited space and budget, room sharing is an option to a modest family. Though privacy may be a little bit of a problem when sharing a space, intimacy and healthy relationships can be strengthen by sharing a room with someone who are dear to us. This room may be bit of a challenge for me. When i saw the room, i thought, a bed with a pull out will definitely solve the small space problem. But, its kinda ackward for someone to sleep on the pull out right? From Drab to Fab

This is the boring shoe cabinet. I really want to replace this, unfortunately, i am not decided yet if i will be purchasing a nice console table or will be asking again the help of my carpenter to make a cabinet/display shelf for me... But i had purchased a nice wallpaper during a mall visit. Actually, i dont really have a plan for that but i saw that the design is nice and that dainty pattern is a little japanese so i purchased three of that. So while i was checking my house, the shoe cabinet caught my attention and immediately thought that making this over will give this cabinet more character. So i decided to put wall paper on the cabinet door and voila, i so love the transformation.
