Updates please

Yes, its been so long since I updated this blog. It doesn't mean that I dont have the time but because I'm so up to decorating and stuff and I am not uploading this on my blog. Surprise!
A lot has change. I added two aquariums at home, I have a pacu fish in a 75gal aquarium and I have another variety of fish in a 20 gal aquarium. Seems my house is quite a pet friendly one now. Haha.
I also managed to own my gallinera three seater sofa which I adore so much. Yeah its my dream to have one. Now I have so many chairs at home, can you believe that. I have four seating areas already and its freaking me out. I need also to updo my decorations, I don't know if I'm still into Asian decorating but I still do want to keep my Buddha accents at home. I think I better start to clean it up, eliminate some and just keep my beautiful accessories so that I will not messed up. Btw, holiday is fast approaching and I don't have an idea on how I will decorate my home. I want it to be a new, but I don't want it to look too Christmas. A subtle decoration will so, maybe a touch of reds and golds are perfect
How about the outside of my home? Oh I am continuously trimming all the plants because they grown like a tree already. Now that my rosal is no longer producing so much bulbs, I trim them to prune them. Oh how I love for it to look like a bonsai. This will fit perfectly on my desire for a bonsai garden. I still kept my Japanese sofa though, but I want to have my sunroom installed very soon.
I will upload pictures really soon.

The L shaped Sofa

An L shape sofa is a sofa that is literally designed in the shape of an L. It is designed like this for a number of reasons, and is a great choice for many different kinds of living rooms. Many people are buying L shaped sofas these days, in fact, for all of the benefits they offer. So, in case you have not been able to witness these benefits firsthand, here they are! First and foremost, an L shape sofa gives you more actual sitting room than does a regular sofa. Why? Well, because there is simply more of it to sit on! There is the main section (much like a normal couch), then, there is the elbow (a very relaxing spot to sit, I might add..), and the rest of the L on the end...which is usually the size of at least a small loveseat. And since there is so much room on these pieces to sit, you can fit a lot more people onto an L shaped sofa like this than you could on a regular sofa. The next benefit that an L shape sofa gives us is the benefit of being more affordable. Now, at this, you ...

Make Me Home No.4

Welcome to Make me Home edition 4. Weve been doing the dining, living and kitchen already and i guess its proper to feature a bedroom as well. This time, i want to feature a bedroom which is so typical to a filipino setting where the bedroom is shared by siblings. It is a common fact that due to limited space and budget, room sharing is an option to a modest family. Though privacy may be a little bit of a problem when sharing a space, intimacy and healthy relationships can be strengthen by sharing a room with someone who are dear to us. This room may be bit of a challenge for me. When i saw the room, i thought, a bed with a pull out will definitely solve the small space problem. But, its kinda ackward for someone to sleep on the pull out right? In fact, sleeping in a pull out is just an option for a sleep overs. It will be greater and even righteous to give a bed to everyone so they can have a space of their own. So i envisioned a "chic retreat style" for th...

Creating a Summer Look

Since its month end and before the summer ends (though as noticed, temperatures keep rising as we approach the supposedly raining months), i decided to upgrade the look of my place. In fact, this is so much anticipated not just because i really wanted a summer look (which is inspired by the last edition of real living magazine) but because were celebrating mothers day and my mothers birthday. And i would like to say that this inspiration is a tribute to my mom who little by little is adjusting to my new found passion on house decorating. As noticed, i already incorporated my flea market finds on my nest. The native drums, candelabras and two garden set stool which became my side tables are now part of my design. The old artworks are still there. I managed to blend in my old pieces, those that i already have in my new color scheme. In fact, this were my considerations before i chose the blues over the creams as wall color. I made it sure that my old pieces will never be outdated or out...
