Hey...whats up with me

Well ive been so busy these past few days because of several projects at home. One of these projects is the mini bar which i already posted several days ago. I am so excited with these one because finally, its my design and the unpainted one already look amazing. I am so eager to see the final outcome once painting was done. By the weekend, i will have a new mini bar which is one of my wishes. I cant wait till its done.

Second is the roofing extension on my lanai. See, i have this space where all utilities and messy things are being done. I installed polycarbonate roofing to the space to shield it from sun and rain. Good thing that the polycarbonate roofing is transparent so it does not make the space darker. Next thing to do is to make it work. I am thinking to extend my sitting area on the lanai and make the space useable. By the end of the week, i will have two sititng areas, one on the main living room and the other on my lanai. I am so happy how it turned out. Now my backspace is one promising space.

Next in line is the bedroom makeover for my niece. I also design the space to make it work for a younger teen on her highschool. The design makes the room uncluttered and functional. I just cant wait to start this project. It will be a nice gift for my niece for all her efforts on her studies.

The target completion is on the first week of August. Come August 28, we will be celebrating our 7th year in the house. Hopefully, i can cook some and invite my friends for a bottle or two. My sisters birthday will also be coming soon. Maybe it will be for a double celebration. May God Bless me more...

Welcome to Make me Home edition 4. Weve been doing the dining, living and kitchen already and i guess its proper to feature a bedroom as well. This time, i want to feature a bedroom which is so typical to a filipino setting where the bedroom is shared by siblings. It is a common fact that due to limited space and budget, room sharing is an option to a modest family. Though privacy may be a little bit of a problem when sharing a space, intimacy and healthy relationships can be strengthen by sharing a room with someone who are dear to us. This room may be bit of a challenge for me. When i saw the room, i thought, a bed with a pull out will definitely solve the small space problem. But, its kinda ackward for someone to sleep on the pull out right? In fact, sleeping in a pull out is just an option for a sleep overs. The Unknown Color Choice...

Finally, i already bought the new house paint and I'm quite nervous and excited as well. Its my first time to go on bold colors and i don't know how its gonna be. I want to get out of beige and creams, bolder colors are in though I'm still so hesitant to do it. But i need some liberation, i need to have some changes and be willing to let them in. And i know its time. So i was choosing the right palette when the attendant asked me if I'm a designer. I said no. He said that I'm so meticulous on color and knows exactly what i wanted. ( Maybe not, cause i changed my mind so many times choosing the right color). I just said that i like to read magazines and get some inspirations from them. Anyway, i chose to follow my tropical theme so i chose a blue paint. With eyes closed, i said to myself that there's no backing out.
