Erase that Meanness

I was just wearing a denim pants and a casual long sleeves. I entered the hotel and the assistants lead me to the check in counter. They requested me to leave my baggage behind so that i can fall in line easily. Guess im just a regular hotel guest for a week. When the assistant checked my luggage tag, he screamed and all of a sudden, they are all leading me to the nearest elevator. I was telling them that i have to get my luggage but they said that it will be fine. I should not be checking in on the lobby but on the executive lounge. Thats where the guest who occupies the executive suite should be checking in. Well, they might have expect that someone whos wearing a tuxedo will be their guest and not like me who wears a regular denim pants.

I was having my car washed when suddenly a man whos manuevering his old and "junk like' car hit the bumper of a passing vehicle. The passing vehicle is somewhat a five year old model car and was newly painted. The driver immediately confront the driver of the other car and ask if he has the capability to pay for the damages. The driver of the old car requested to have the damage estimated and be back for the payment after a day. The confronter was still asking on how the other person will pay for the damages because he seemed like a regular carwash boy. Still thinking, he went away to have the damages estimated. Btw, the person who hitted the vehicle happened to be the owner of the car wash station and the owner of the three storey buiding!

My friends and I were in line because we wanted to watch a concert of a very popular singer. It was a long line and a very long wait for the start. Everyone is so pissed off and so impatient already. We have our 350 peso ticket because thats what my other friends can afford. As much as I wanted to buy a more expensive ticket for a front seat, a concert with friends will be more fun than watching it alone on the front seat. Suddenly, i noticed a girl walking in front of us and not following the line. She said she have to be in front of us and can bypass the line because she purchased a more expensive ticket so she should be given a special treatment. We ignored her attitude and focus our attention among ourselves. But shes so annoying that she is even asking on why we are also falling in line with them while that line should be for those expensive tickets only. Annoyed that i was, i turned to her and ask on how much she had purchased her ticket. with raising eyebrows, she said..."My ticket is 1500pesos!"...Then i said, "ok...with the way you look, who would even know that you can afford to buy that 1500 peso ticket!', Then i turned my back on her and winked at my friends. She wanted to pull my hair but fortunately her mother pulled her away. hehehe.

I dont know why some people are so mean that they wanted to let all the people knew that they are greater than them. But as i go through life, i found out that people judge you according to how you look, the color of your skin and the clothes you wear. This is the reality of life. But everyone should have the responsibility of treating everyone equal, or might as well be so discreet about it so you would not be caught in the trap that you yourself has made.

Make Me Home No.4

Welcome to Make me Home edition 4. Weve been doing the dining, living and kitchen already and i guess its proper to feature a bedroom as well. This time, i want to feature a bedroom which is so typical to a filipino setting where the bedroom is shared by siblings. It is a common fact that due to limited space and budget, room sharing is an option to a modest family. Though privacy may be a little bit of a problem when sharing a space, intimacy and healthy relationships can be strengthen by sharing a room with someone who are dear to us. This room may be bit of a challenge for me. When i saw the room, i thought, a bed with a pull out will definitely solve the small space problem. But, its kinda ackward for someone to sleep on the pull out right? In fact, sleeping in a pull out is just an option for a sleep overs. It will be greater and even righteous to give a bed to everyone so they can have a space of their own. So i envisioned a "chic retreat style" for this bedroo

The L shaped Sofa

An L shape sofa is a sofa that is literally designed in the shape of an L. It is designed like this for a number of reasons, and is a great choice for many different kinds of living rooms. Many people are buying L shaped sofas these days, in fact, for all of the benefits they offer. So, in case you have not been able to witness these benefits firsthand, here they are! First and foremost, an L shape sofa gives you more actual sitting room than does a regular sofa. Why? Well, because there is simply more of it to sit on! There is the main section (much like a normal couch), then, there is the elbow (a very relaxing spot to sit, I might add..), and the rest of the L on the end...which is usually the size of at least a small loveseat. And since there is so much room on these pieces to sit, you can fit a lot more people onto an L shaped sofa like this than you could on a regular sofa. The next benefit that an L shape sofa gives us is the benefit of being more affordable. Now, at this, you

La Residencia Almar...my home in Dumaguete

This is La Residencia Almar in Dumaguete City where i stayed for six nights. Actually, this is my second time to stay in this hotel because i was here last year. I opted to stay again in this hotel because i love the view in its front and it is smaller than the usual hotel located in Dumaguete. In front of the hotel is the famous Dumaguete Boulevard where a lot of people, local and tourist gather every morning and at night to see the majestic view of the sea. But what makes me desire to stay once again is tits beautiful interior, a Balinese theme which i always love in every home. The nice lighting fixture greeted me as I enter the hotel. This is spectacular especially at night. I love the simple but colorful detail at the base of the chandelier. The nuetral paint, with mostly beige, white and brown accentuated by several niches where an old jars are kept in display, trimmings and wooden pieces makes me think that I am in an old world retreat but never forgetting the asian herit
