The Sun after The storm!

So this was my rearranged living room several days ago. For me, it looks like a boring room with a very monochromatic color scheme. This was a drastic change from a cool summer inspired living room to a rainy and sad one. And as noticed, the room is not that vibrant, not lively and uninspired. And i know, i need to add something to make it alive and inspiring even on rainy months.

And as promised, these plants will be incorporated for a more lively space. I decided to put some cacti this time. I dont know but maybe i was inspired by one of the articles in a magazine to try cactus as houseplants due to its easy adaptation and growing.

So this is the finished product of my new living room. As noticed, i also changed the pillow case this time and put in a metallic gray and im glad it worked! I also removed all the faux plants and use the real plants. Native bean bags are also set aside to reveal the nice capiz cofee table. I removed all the things above the cofee table and put it underneath instead and i so loved it. Now the capiz was highlighted and the display underneath gives drama to the center. Small chest box was also placed in front of the big "baul" for display. Now, i have an array of chest box that makes a statement.

Now i can say that i have a lovelier space. Being uncontented that i am, i know its gonna be a whole month of rearrangement. But who cares? If it makes me happy, why not!

Welcome to Make me Home edition 4. Weve been doing the dining, living and kitchen already and i guess its proper to feature a bedroom as well. This time, i want to feature a bedroom which is so typical to a filipino setting where the bedroom is shared by siblings. La Residencia Almar...my home in Dumaguete

This is La Residencia Almar in Dumaguete City where i stayed for six nights. Actually, this is my second time to stay in this hotel because i was here last year. I opted to stay again in this hotel because i love the view in its front and it is smaller than the usual hotel located in Dumaguete. In front of the hotel is the famous Dumaguete Boulevard where a lot of people, local and tourist gather every morning and at night to see the majestic view of the sea. But what makes me desire to stay once again is tits beautiful interior, a Balinese theme which i always love in every home. The nice lighting fixture greeted me as I enter the hotel. This is spectacular especially at night. I love the simple but colorful detail at the base of the chandelier.
