Suddenly...it bloated

The final costing was revealed and it was totally out of my budget.

After careful consideration i still gave the approval to proceed with the project on the following consideration:

1. This is an investment also on my part. The property will increase its value in time even if the structure gets old. Usually the current value will always be higher than the acquisition and the construction cost.

2. This is my dream home and i want to push this to the limit cause anyway this will be our retirement home. I want to give my all to this project

3. The maximum guaranteed cost is still within my guaranteed savings. Meaning, i still have money to build this house with money still left on my bank account after the construction.

But i have to properly select all the materials for me to save for the construction as the exterior wall painting and the fencing is still not considered on the budget. But nevertheless I'm still very hopeful that it can still be accommodated once the project is on-going.

But i have to pray more so that i can finish this project which will start soon in a couple of weeks.

For this month....

I am so excited to decorate my nest. Its been quite a while since my last blog, maybe because i am so busy for the past few months. Its not just blogging that i missed, also dressing my nest. For this month, i like to see my nest in blue, orange and green, the usual colors that i like. But this month is quite unusual, because i tend to lean on a musculine style, more toned down but colorful as well. Its just that i like to see my nest as subtle as it can be, with minimum decor, restive but colorful as well. Its my character, it defines my style, colorful as always. See how striking the picture is, and its colors...im so excited to use this color palette at home. I also found one big buddha at a local thrift store. Its so beautiful that i was eager to buy when i embraced it. You know the feeling that you are fit to each other, as if you are really meant to be. Thats what i felt when i embraced my new buddha. Welcome to Make me Home edition 4. Weve been doing the dining, living and kitchen already and i guess its proper to feature a bedroom as well. This time, i want to feature a bedroom which is so typical to a filipino setting where the bedroom is shared by siblings. It is a common fact that due to limited space and budget, room sharing is an option to a modest family. Though privacy may be a little bit of a problem when sharing a space, intimacy and healthy relationships can be strengthen by sharing a room with someone who are dear to us.
