Our Eating Adventure-Laguna

It was almost late for lunch and so we are in a hurry to look for a restaurant to eat. We decided to ask the locals for the best restaurant in town and all of them are pointing us to Arabela. The place is easy to locate as it is just walking distance from all the stores. We were amazed by the interior, and the vast of people lining up to eat. We are so fortunate that we are just 3 in a group so we were seated readily. The restaurant has low ceiling so people who are so tall need to bend themselves a little bit which makes the place unique. The set up of the food in display is also nice and the crew are just as polite and welcoming. If I had an opportunity to come back to Liliw, I would love to dine there again and try all of their dishes. As a pasta lover, it will be a heavens feast.  I love my ordered drink. This is kiwi and mint drink which is very refreshing in a very hot day. The kiwi sour taste and the hint of coolness from the mint is relaxing. Plus, look how it ...

On Heat...

The sun is blazing hot again. Its summer in the Philippines. Just today, it is so hot even if an eclipse happened in the morning. Even the partial sunlight doesn't diminish the heat of the day. But everyone in the Philippines love summer. It is the season where everyone likes to hang out in the beach, or go somewhere north to experience a colder day. But no matter how we wanted to celebrate the season, this is a special time for us to bond with families and friends. There's a lot of places to see in the area in summer. Some will go to the local beaches as these are cheaper compared with the most popular ones. Beside, the feeling is just the same when you're out there in the water. But some will just stay at home to have their own siestas or gathering, they can make their own retreat. It is more exclusive and fun. All you have to prepare are light snacks and it will all be a fun filled day. Others opt to just roam around the mall just to stay cool. A simple meal w...

Not so much, but i like the before...

Have you ever browsed pictures of your home and finally realized that it looks better before than now? While you are actually doing makeovers and home improvement recently, it look so much better than now. Do you resent, or you just ignored? I experienced it always, that I do try to look at the old pics of my home and tell myself, what the hell am I thinking of throwing those stuff while it actually was so beautiful. Why do I keep on rearranging while my furnitures are better that way. I thought I learned a lot now but the end result keeps on becoming uglier. Then we just sit down in disgust, asking ourselves, am I doing good or just wasting my money for home improvements while making it actually worst. While maybe we were actually right, we should not be despaired. That's just the way it is. Making home improvement keeps on changing over time and it all depends on our mood. What we actually saw is the simplicity before and the complexity of what is now. Actually fo...

Confidently Beautiful with A Heart..

Just like what Pia W, our reigning Miss Universe said on her final Q and A, she want to raise awareness to certain causes like HIV awareness which is timely and relevant to my country which is the Philippines. As of December 2015, there has been a tremendous increase in HIV infection in the Philippines with NCR as the highest infected city while my province, region 4 as the second. This is a sad reality in the Philippines, that eventhough we are coming out of ages, we are still ignorant and rampant about sexuality.   We may never knew it, we can never know if a person is HIV positive, they have no signs, no symptoms...its a silent killer, it will kill you at its own time...without you knowing how, when and why you acquired it. We are faced in the situation where no one seems to care but only those who are infected already, maybe because they knew how it is, to stay alive with the disease. They remain focused to stop this endemic, to stop the numbe...

Start a New

A lot of things happened these past few months. I came to a point of nearly loosing my job. I need to rescue a business that I like to be productive. I had a few challenges on my health. I was frequently lined up for my medical care. I had mild anxiety attacks, ending up with sleep disorder. Those things I have to endure and fight for the past few months. But eventually, I am slowly winning it all. I had retained my job, my business is positively doing good. My health condition is improving. I am a sleep person now without any medications. I can say im doing good and slowly back to being the normal me, jolly and full of life. I miss my decorating skills lately. Honestly, I don't have the inspiration to do holiday decorating but I missed going to the thrift shops or flea markets. I want to see lots of things. I need to be inspired, go out and have some fun at the same time. I want to change my furnitures, I want to finish my projects, I want a daybed, I want a console t...

Where i wanna be...

This is where I want to be right now. A secluded beach to relax. Isn't it wonderful?

Maria Aurora Aragon's House

Ever wonder how's the house of the great wife of our great Presidents looks like? Well, as you all know, bahay na bato is for the rich clans during the Spanish regime, but this is not the bahay na bato, in fact this is somewhat similar to our old house before. I guess shes not so rich but belonged to a modest family. But I love this house so much as it reminds me of my parents house where I grew up. This is me on their I think study room. I love the long table and their table cloth, very Filipino. I also love the color of the wood. It feels so fresh without looking too antique. I also adore the big windows which cools the entire room. The dining room is adorable as well, with the same set up just like the study room. Again I love the table cloth, symbolizes the artistic talent of Filipino.   The living room is I believe not the original set up as the bamboo sofa is new. But I love how it made the room complete, simple but classy.     Th...
