The Malaysian Adventure

March 1 Everyone of us took our usual breakfast. It's the day of our Malaysian Adventure. We are set to leave at 9AM in the morning to have an ample time to catch for our 2:30 flight to Malaysia. Everything was packed, we were already booked last November and all of us were prepared for the trip. The hotel accommodation was already booked as well. It was the first time our family will go together, first time to have our very much anticipated international trip. Before, i am hiring a driver for us but now, i intentionally wanted to drive on my own. I intended not to get one since our arrival will be in the midnight of March 5 and i don't want my driver to wait in that unholy hour so i decided to drive instead. Beside, driving to NAIA is very easy as the net says. Unfortunately, the rotanda seems so confusing that i found my self swerving to NAIA 3's entrance. Good thing that theres no traffic enforcer in the area and just commuters who are blowing their horns becau...

The Big 30 Revealed

Sunday is always a family day. Being a private employee and a guardian for my grown up niece, sunday is a day to think of fun, entertaining and endless possibilities. In fact, i always treated sunday as a special day because my sisters and my nephews are in the house. Since, this sunday is a very good timing because i am also on my day off, i invited my weekend housemates for a short trip...to Paseo de Roxas in Sta Rosa Laguna. Ive been there for i think four times already for this month but i havent followed what i wanted to do. I just shop and hop and nothing else. But there is this mall little dine in where i always wanted to try. The Big 30 pizza shop. What seems to be special with the pizza, nothing else but its size!. I never seen a pizza as giant as it is. So this long time craving was replaced by an amazement on whats in store for us. My heart is pounding in excitement when we reached the resto. It was just a small one serving big! So i grabbed the menu and order t...

Another Sonyas Experience

As promised, we treated a couple in a very healthy lunch at Sonyas Garden on the day before the valentine. It was actually an act of gratitude for letting us stay on their home when we visited Hongkong last year. It was more exciting since they are bringing their little Sophie on the tour. Being in Sonyas is always so special. I always tell everyone that the garden is meant to be shared with someone so special. In fact it was always a dream place for me. Everytime I come over, i know im into a feasty treat. No guilty feeling because i know no matter how big or small the portion is, we would be eating not just healthy but delicious food. It is not just the food for the intestine, it was always actually food for my soul. A haven outside of the metro, where everyone can just relax, sit and enjoy everything that the eyes can see. The last time ive been here was i think four years ago. A lot has been changed but the feeling stays the same. Maybe because...
