Three New Projects

As promised, i already arranged my lanai and as much that i wanted to look like it was a balinese inspired one, i knew that I have to be more creative and add some more balinese element. I do hope I'm getting there. There's a lot to be done and the roofing on the extended lanai gave me the freedom to set my two solihiya chairs and my beloved almost daybed bench. What I love about this now is that the artwork and the green wall accent compliments each other. It was just recent that i add the artwork because i know i have to break the color. Green is really dominating the space. With it on the middle, its contrast to the green wall accent enhances the space and gives it a polished look. Now i have an extended seating area where i can entertain my friends. Everyone is so eager to visit the house and experience my new lanai. I am looking for an accent lighting, maybe a Persian or Moroccan lamp to light up the space. I also have to update the pillows for...

The New Sitting Area

...and this is the big reveal. Isnt it cozy, fresh and relaxing. I really want to have a balinese-resort feel seating area at the back. This is a work in progress but i know its getting there.

The beauty of wood and concrete

I was star strucked on the long L-shaped sofa with concrete base. Very clever and chic. Simply adorable. I was regretting on why i havent thought about this. This is really amazing. The throws and the upholstery blances the toughness of the concrete sofa. I want to lay down on it with a few books to read. Very nique and inviting. The fireplace takes it centerstage on this area. The continuous concrete to the fireplace is simply stunning. It binds the look together. I wonder if the heat from that fireplace will go all the way to the sofa during cold months. My curiosity is taking over me. I want to experience it. I cannot ignore that rustic wooden tray on that transition from living area to the kitchen. I want to have one because its beautiful. Nothing ever beats an all white kitchen. It exudes comfort, clean and divine. The dark wood table even out the all white color of the space, giving it a shabby chic look. That native bag is so cute in there. I even wonder what...

My Extended Lanai in the Making

Hey...whats up with me

Well ive been so busy these past few days because of several projects at home. One of these projects is the mini bar which i already posted several days ago. I am so excited with these one because finally, its my design and the unpainted one already look amazing. I am so eager to see the final outcome once painting was done. By the weekend, i will have a new mini bar which is one of my wishes. I cant wait till its done. Second is the roofing extension on my lanai. See, i have this space where all utilities and messy things are being done. I installed polycarbonate roofing to the space to shield it from sun and rain. Good thing that the polycarbonate roofing is transparent so it does not make the space darker. Next thing to do is to make it work. I am thinking to extend my sitting area on the lanai and make the space useable. By the end of the week, i will have two sititng areas, one on the main living room and the other on my lanai. I am so happy how it turned out. Now my back...

Nice Headboard...

That headboard rocks. Its screaming awesome. Who says that good things are costly?

In the Making...Mini Bar

This is not yet finished, will incorporate some details and will be ready for the painting. Im dreaming of this one and it will be a reality soon.
